Base Salary
$110k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement features and applications independently as a thought leader and key contributor on the DevX team.
- Own and maintain existing web applications and core UI libraries.
- Mentor junior peers and contribute through code reviews and engineering best practices.
- Support internal customers, deliver training sessions, and author documentation to reduce support needs.
- Partner with designers to build consistent experiences at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience, or at least three years with an advanced degree.
- At least one year of recent React experience.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, web performance optimization, and frontend integration.
- Experience with full-stack development and backend languages such as TypeScript.
- Command-line experience in macOS or Linux.
- Preferred experience includes Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Azure, Postgres, MySQL, Jest, Mocha, Cypress, React Testing Library, Python, NestJS, Figma, Flask, Node.js, Okta, Slackbots, OpenAI, Terraform, Concourse, Jira, GitHub, Sentry.IO, VSCode, Docker, and DataGrip.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with UI/UX, accessibility standards, GCP certifications, and knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, or ISO.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
