Base Salary

$150k - $260k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Support, integrate, scale, document, and secure virtual compute and container platforms.
  • Develop and maintain software, microservices, algorithms, database interfaces, and data queries.
  • Containerize mission-critical applications using containerization technologies.
  • Develop software solutions for low- and high-side environments and integrate software into new or modified systems.
  • Analyze requirements, system performance, data usage, workflows, and problem areas to derive software designs and improvements.
  • Design and implement complex interfaces, queries, and algorithms subject to timing, resource, and interface constraints.
  • Write or review software and system documentation and assist with software testing procedures.
  • Recommend technologies and process improvements, and serve as team lead when appropriate to the software development process.

Requirements

  • Twenty years of experience as a software engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, with four additional years of similar software engineering experience permitted as a substitute.
  • Experience developing and integrating capabilities using Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker, or similar containerization technologies.
  • Experience developing and maintaining microservices in a service-oriented architecture.
  • Experience with varying communications and data formats and a deep understanding of AI/ML capabilities in a client environment.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Preferred qualifications include Agile development experience, programmatic data-serving or retrieval APIs, DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, data science workflows, ETL, and data lakes.
