Base Salary

$168k - $227k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build automated platforms and solutions for AWS build and deployment processes in dedicated regions.
  • Provide automation and scripting support and innovate to automate operational tasks.
  • Investigate customer issues, operational metrics, and root causes.
  • Lead the design and architecture of reliable, scalable new and existing systems.
  • Collaborate with AWS service teams and own systems through the full software development lifecycle.
  • Obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
  • At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
  • Preferred: master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Preferred: 7+ years of professional software development experience and strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Preferred: experience delivering complex software systems and knowledge of professional software engineering practices across coding, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.

  • Base salary range of $168,100.00-$227,400.00 annually, varying by listed U.S. location, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
