Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complete technical systems based on business needs and customer feedback.
- Rapidly expand Farsight’s platform and build new technology and applications for financial-services users.
- Deliver projects ranging from longer-term product initiatives to bug fixes.
- Develop clean, efficient, reliable, and change-ready production software.
- Collaborate with motivated team members to create robust and accurate customer solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of non-internship software engineering experience.
- Experience building applications prepared for scale and production deployment.
- Experience with Python and cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS.
- Strong interest in generative AI and its rapidly evolving technology landscape.
- Experience independently delivering projects from conception through deployment in unstructured environments.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a growing team.
- Experience at an early-stage startup or big tech is preferred.
- Experience developing AI systems, including using closed-source models and fine-tuning or deploying open-source models, is preferred.
- Understanding of system design patterns and test-driven development techniques is preferred.
- Previous experience interacting with customers and incorporating customer feedback is preferred.
