Base Salary
$94k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and troubleshoot software components for aerospace systems.
- Write and maintain comprehensive code documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Support integration of software with hardware systems.
- Participate in developing software requirements and specifications.
- Work with cross-functional teams to meet performance and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary team environments.
- Preferred knowledge of C, C#, C++, HTML, Java, Python, and Bash.
- Preferred experience with requirements tracking, code review, static analysis, library and artifact repositories, and automated build tools.
- Preferred knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral development methodologies and basic data structures.
- Preferred experience with Linux/RHEL and Windows services, tactical/moving-map software integration, hardware integration, and protocol development.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and perform coding and testing requiring hand and finger dexterity.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance.
