Base Salary
$198k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security services supporting Aledade’s business.
- Lead security strategy, architecture, implementation, and ongoing maintenance across networks, systems, applications, and cloud environments.
- Design and deploy hybrid-cloud ingress and egress inspection pipelines, including private connectivity and reduced public IP exposure.
- Deploy, configure, and tune DPI, SSL/TLS inspection, threat detection, and threat prevention using Zscaler and AWS-native appliances.
- Implement WAF protections using Cloudflare and AWS WAF for edge endpoints.
- Integrate CASB and DLP capabilities across Zscaler and Cloudflare to prevent data exfiltration.
- Automate cloud network infrastructure and security policy enforcement using Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Manage network configuration drift detection and automated remediation workflows.
- Orchestrate network flow-log ingestion into SIEM platforms for real-time threat hunting.
- Partner cross-functionally, mentor new engineers, and uphold high-quality security engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Eight years of experience in software or security engineering within cloud-native environments.
- Experience leading architectural design for hybrid-cloud ingress and egress inspection pipelines.
- Experience with DPI, SSL/TLS inspection, threat detection and prevention, WAF, CASB, DLP, cloud infrastructure automation, configuration drift remediation, network observability, and SIEM integrations.
- Experience with Zscaler, AWS-native appliances, Cloudflare, Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience using AWS VPC Flow Logs, Zscaler NSS, Cloudflare Logpush, and SIEM platforms such as CrowdStrike, Sumo Logic, or Wiz.
