Base Salary
$60k - $75k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security automation solutions supporting Akamai Origin Lockdown and perimeter security modernization.
- Develop automation using Terraform, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.
- Reduce manual operations, accelerate onboarding, improve security posture, and enable scalable policy enforcement.
- Partner with Akamai, Network, DNS, AppSec, and Platform Engineering teams to deliver secure-by-default automated security controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or Information Technology, or a master's degree in Computer Science.
- Experience or expertise in application security, cloud IAM, identity access management, security architecture, security frameworks, policies, standards, risk management, and cyber resilience.
- Knowledge of security automation, software development, cloud infrastructure, and automation practices.
- English proficiency at C2 level.
- Preferred or listed certifications include CISSP and BUILD- IT/CISM.
