Base Salary
$109k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain business-critical production infrastructure for the Streaming Hub platform.
- Design, implement, and execute infrastructure changes for product launches, client requirements, and engineering initiatives.
- Build, manage, optimize, upgrade, scale, and troubleshoot Kubernetes environments, including Amazon EKS clusters.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and automate operational processes with Python, Go, and Ansible.
- Perform code-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, incident resolution, and production support in a 24x7 environment.
- Improve observability, monitoring, deployment processes, production readiness, reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with product development, engineering, and offshore operations teams across a 12-hour daily support model.
- Support major live events and traffic spikes to maintain platform stability.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong AWS experience and/or experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience building and managing cloud infrastructure, networking, and production environments.
- Extensive production experience operating and managing Kubernetes clusters and experience with Docker.
- Strong Terraform experience and experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins.
- Strong scripting and automation experience using Python and Go.
- Understanding of network architecture, troubleshooting, load balancing, traffic management, network performance tuning, security and access controls, and distributed systems networking.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or some combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
