Base Salary
$146k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Break larger projects into tasks, deliver work in phases, and collaborate with teammates to ensure timely completion.
- Partner with product management, design, and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
- Build and ship web and mobile applications and scalable APIs for card acquisition and onboarding experiences.
- Create and monitor operational metrics, escalate issues, and support keep-the-lights-on and on-call efforts.
- Participate in code reviews, interviews, and team growth and development activities.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience shipping web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Experience shipping mobile applications with native or cross-platform technologies such as React Native.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages such as Kotlin or Python.
- Ability to translate business problems into solutions spanning multiple software components and write clear, well-tested, extensible code.
- Ability to navigate large codebases, debug others’ code, and provide constructive code review feedback.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
