Responsibilities
- Craft and curate a portfolio of data modernization practice solutions with the Practice Director.
- Develop strategies and execute plans to achieve business targets.
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure data platform frameworks.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and clients.
- Lead strategic sales processes and author proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and contracts.
- Cultivate a pipeline of potential deals and support territory revenue targets.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Digital Architects to identify growth opportunities.
- Host presentations and educational sessions.
- Lead and mentor data solution architects, engineers, and consultants.
- Monitor team utilization, capacity, and workload distribution.
- Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate across practices to develop products and capabilities for Business Applications and Data Modernization services.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience as a subject matter expert or Solutions Architect for data platforms, including data engineering and data architecture.
- 5+ years of experience selling complex solutions that create business outcomes.
- Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills for internal and external audiences.
- 5+ years of experience delivering within the Agile/Scrum framework.
- Proficiency in workshop facilitation, including envisioning and art-of-the-possible sessions.
- Ability to learn new technology concepts rapidly and assess their relevance to client solutions.
- Self-motivation, initiative, ongoing professional development, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of current developments and issues relevant to data users or the candidate’s area of specialization.
