Base Salary
$93k - $117k/yr
Responsibilities
- Apply remote sensing and geospatial expertise to help Professional Services customers adopt the Planet Platform.
- Align Professional Services project development with customer business and technology strategies.
- Build software tools, proofs of concept, sample applications, APIs, analytics workflows, and data pipelines.
- Own customer engagements from discovery and scoping through execution, requirements documentation, training, and solution delivery.
- Collaborate with Sales to close business opportunities and expand customer usage of Planet data.
- Gather customer insights to influence Planet’s products and offerings.
- Build and maintain APIs for enterprise and federal customers.
- Define, create, and analyze usage metrics to drive customer growth.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience working in the DoD/IC space in a technical capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, Remote Sensing, Geography, or a related field.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar systems and codebases quickly and debug and triage complex problems.
- Ability to progress team initiatives, develop new application and process ideas, collaborate across teams, and work independently.
- Preferred: current TS/SCI clearance and experience with JavaScript mapping libraries, Google Earth Engine, databases, Python, Linux, shell scripting, geospatial software, cloud deployments, public-facing APIs, customer engagements, and Multi-Domain/Multi-Level Security architectures.
