Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Develop and execute automated tests across UI and API layers.
- Build reusable components for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Use AI-assisted tools for test-case creation, automation development, code review, and defect analysis.
- Collaborate with developers and the Scrum Master on test strategy and quality objectives.
- Analyze test results and report defects, risks, quality trends, and coverage.
- Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospective ceremonies.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of QA or test automation experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Playwright experience.
- Strong TypeScript/JavaScript expertise and understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Experience with UI and API test automation, REST, JSON, and integration testing.
- Hands-on Azure DevOps experience covering work management, test planning, and pipeline integrations.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid Git skills, including branching strategies.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and Claude, or strong motivation to learn and adopt AI-assisted development tools.
- Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
- Experience with cloud platforms, microservices or distributed-systems testing, performance testing, accessibility testing, security testing, or insurance, reinsurance, or financial services is a plus.
