Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate ROS2-based autonomy software.
- Design and develop software architecture, motion planning, computer vision, sensor processing algorithms, graphical user interfaces, and inter-process messaging for active safety, advanced driver assistance systems, and unmanned ground vehicle control systems.
- Write high-quality, maintainable C++ code and develop software unit and regression tests.
- Perform engineering calculations, investigations, software development, hardware selection, analysis, and design activities.
- Autonomously develop and deliver small and large portions of the overall application.
- Write requirements and design documentation.
- Support engineering programs, supervisors, suppliers, engineering specialists, and other departments, including travel to off-site locations as necessary.
- Make significant decisions affecting the department and act as a lead worker by instructing, scheduling, and reviewing related work.
Requirements
- Accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Five or more years of related experience.
- Proficiency in ROS2-based software development within complex applications.
- Ability to produce high-quality and maintainable C++ code.
- Familiarity with Ubuntu 22.04 or later and distributed systems.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering, and real-world autonomy project experience as a key contributor.
- Applicants may need to be U.S. Persons for positions involving controlled goods and technologies subject to ITAR or EAR regulations.

- Pay range is $91,500.00-$148,100.00 across all U.S. locations, with individual pay determined by scope, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
