Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and transition AI-based solutions into production within industrial manufacturing environments.
- Conduct data- and model-driven analyses to identify and implement optimization opportunities.
- Own AI projects end to end, from problem definition through integration into operational processes.
- Develop existing solutions and design new methods, products, and technologies as part of R&D.
- Coach and enable employees in artificial intelligence.
- Plan, manage, and execute projects, including collaboration with external service providers within a governance framework.
- Advise clients, provide reporting, and further develop standards, methods, and tools.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in technical consulting, enablement, and introducing data- and AI-driven workflows into operational processes.
- Experience developing, operating, and scaling production-grade ML/AI systems.
- Proven experience using modern ML and LLM-based approaches productively, including prompt engineering and agent-based systems.
- Understanding of ML and LLM models, model lifecycle, validation, limitations, and modern cloud architectures for AI/ML environments.
- Strong Python skills and experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of process modeling and simulation, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and operations research is preferred.
- Ability to combine simulation, machine learning, and optimization.
- Strong communication skills and a responsible, hands-on approach to working in interdisciplinary and intercultural environments.
