Base Salary
$175k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build secure, maintainable, self-service core infrastructure for engineering teams.
- Architect and evolve scalable, reproducible ML training infrastructure for rapid experimentation.
- Build and operate reliable, cost-efficient, low-latency model serving architecture.
- Own and scale the low-latency voice interface and audio processing pipeline.
- Build developer tooling, server infrastructure, and data infrastructure that increases engineering productivity.
- Set technical direction, communicate proposals and tradeoffs, and raise engineering quality across the team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience, including significant infrastructure, platform, or ML systems experience.
- Production experience operating and scaling Kubernetes clusters.
- Hands-on reliability engineering experience with observability, monitoring, deployment systems, and loosely coupled architectures.
- Proven experience shipping services at scale and managing their operational complexity.
- Experience designing and shipping flexible domain models and APIs.
- A strong track record of using automation to improve efficiency.
- Ability to set technical direction, communicate clearly about tradeoffs, and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with infrastructure as code at scale, especially Terraform; CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Kubernetes-based approaches are also welcomed.
- Preferred experience with PyTorch, ML training or serving, TorchServe, Seldon, KServe, Ray Serve, or similar systems.
- Preferred experience with large-scale distributed training and serving systems, data engineering, database design, and real-time communication systems.
