Responsibilities
- Model, analyze, implement, and optimize CT/X-ray image algorithms for ZEISS products.
- Solve core technical issues and improve algorithm performance and reliability.
- Train and evaluate machine learning models for classification, object detection, and segmentation.
- Apply image preprocessing, data augmentation, quantization, pruning, and model compression techniques.
- Perform unit, integration, and model performance validation testing.
- Collaborate on cross-site technical alignment and help develop the team’s technology stack.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in mathematics, computer science, software engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Solid industry experience in defect image recognition; lithium-ion battery experience is preferred.
- Understanding of battery manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Strong foundation in computer science, image processing, and computer vision, with substantial traditional image processing experience.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with algorithm modeling and emulation platforms.
- Experience training machine learning models for classification, object detection, and segmentation.
- Ability to analyze model performance using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score.
- Expertise in model optimization techniques, including quantization, pruning, and model compression.
- Advanced image processing skills, including data augmentation and preprocessing.
- Proficiency in end-to-end testing, including unit, integration, and model performance validation.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of X-ray imaging systems and principles is a plus.
- Experience with C# or C++ is a plus.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese is required.
- International cross-site team experience is a plus.
