Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack product features using React/Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and Go.
- Own features end-to-end from conception through deployment, including APIs, interfaces, and infrastructure.
- Work across all layers of the stack and deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
- Collaborate closely with the CTO, customers, leadership, and a small team while shipping code daily.
- Maintain clean, functional engineering standards and continuously improve the product and development practices.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
- Proficiency with React/Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and Go across the full stack.
- Experience designing, building, or consuming APIs at scale.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications using AWS, Azure, Heroku, or Docker.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, continuous-learning orientation, and a collaborative mindset.
- Startup or early-stage company experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with messaging platforms, telecommunications infrastructure, or communication APIs including SMS, RCS, or voice is a bonus.
Benefits
- Salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 USD annually.
- Hybrid role based in Birmingham, Alabama; candidates in San Francisco, California or New York, New York will also be considered.
