Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web application features across frontend and backend components.
  • Build Angular UI components and microapps using Harmony and implement Java/Micron backend services.
  • Develop, integrate, and consume RESTful APIs, including handling API contracts, versioning, validation, and errors.
  • Design efficient queries and data access patterns for relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests and participate in automated testing and build pipelines.
  • Own delivery of complex features, break down epics into implementable stories, and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
  • Troubleshoot issues across frontend and backend layers and participate in production issue triage and resolution.
  • Follow established frontend patterns, security and compliance checks, SDLC and Agile delivery practices, and support features from design through production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered instead.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong Angular frontend development and Java backend development experience.
  • Experience building RESTful services and integrating with internal and external APIs.
  • Understanding of component-based architecture, state management, UI performance, service-to-service communication, data flows, API contracts, versioning, and error handling.
  • Working knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases and efficient queries and data access patterns.
  • Experience with clean code, code reviews, testing strategies, debugging, and independent troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Micron, PNC API standards, and Ledger components.
  • Exposure to containerized applications and Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and preferably regulated or financial environments.
  • Ability to own features through production support and communicate through code reviews and design discussions.
