Responsibilities
- Extract information from Siemens and Rockwell PLCs and Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, and/or Motoman robot tags.
- Develop or support software solutions using multiple programming languages, including JavaScript, C#, R, Python, C++, and Java.
- Work with relational databases, database management systems, OLAP, ETL frameworks, and MQTT.
- Perform capability studies such as CPK, Gage R, and Gage R&R and apply statistical methods.
- Work with BI technologies including Microsoft Power BI, AWS QuickSight, and QlikView.
- Troubleshoot issues, manage multiple priorities, understand end-to-end business processes, and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field of study.
- At least three years of related experience.
- Understanding of OT equipment communication, including PLC and industrial robot tags and information extraction.
- Experience with MQTT, capability studies, statistical methods, and BI technologies.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle; NoSQL experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of database management systems, online analytical processing, and ETL frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds and work with the mobility requirements of a factory-floor environment.
