Responsibilities
- Define next-generation performance benchmarking requirements and metrics for FlashArray products.
- Provide technical direction, leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to software and performance engineers.
- Develop performance validation strategies for critical customer use cases in collaboration with Product Management, Solutions Engineering, and Sales Engineering.
- Analyze bottlenecks in the Linux storage and networking stack and identify optimizations for throughput and latency.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and executing system-level performance testing for enterprise-grade servers, storage, SAN protocols, and databases.
- Expert-level proficiency with Linux systems, including network configuration, storage stacks, system settings, and command-line performance-tuning utilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and provide architectural direction to software and performance engineers.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience turning performance data into engineering improvements and high-quality product releases.
