Base Salary
$69k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software integration, verification, and validation test plans and procedures.
- Write automated test procedure scripts and execute integration, unit, end-to-end, and performance testing.
- Deliver full-stack software features through implementation, review, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment.
- Analyze requirements, identify integration issues and edge cases, and coordinate software defect remediation.
- Develop clean, maintainable, testable production code and participate in code reviews.
- Support cloud deployments, automated test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and integration troubleshooting.
- Conduct test walkthroughs and communicate plans, status, results, and out-briefs to team and customer stakeholders.
- Assist junior engineers through pairing, technical guidance, code reviews, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with product, design, integration, and test leads while documenting technical work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field plus 3 years of professional software development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience developing, integrating, testing, and deploying software.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, including Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
- Experience with test automation scripting using Python, Bash, or Perl and automated testing frameworks or tools such as PyTest, JUnit, Selenium, Postman/Newman, or Cucumber.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, RESTful APIs, web applications, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience working collaboratively in software teams and communicating technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work in the office at least 3 days per week and up to 5 days per week after obtaining a security clearance.
- Willingness and ability to obtain a TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Preferred experience includes Spring Boot, React, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, microservices, formal verification and validation, and aerospace or defense systems.
- An active U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
