Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable supply chain software and applications across the full software development life cycle.
- Collaborate with business leaders, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to identify problems and create business-focused solutions.
- Design client-side and server-side architecture for supply chain applications.
- Build greenfield distributed applications, databases, APIs, servers, and user interfaces for supply chain platforms.
- Write modular, functional, testable code and develop technical specifications and documentation.
- Test, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications for responsiveness, efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Deploy applications in the AWS Cloud with a high security bar.
- Mentor junior engineers on design, coding, and troubleshooting.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
- Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements and describe software features and technical designs.
- Preferred experience includes at least 1 year of supply chain management within a procurement organization.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
