Responsibilities
- Lead the global strategy, roadmap, and implementation of SCA and SAST capabilities.
- Serve as the global subject-matter expert and optimize security tooling to reduce false positives and improve developer experience.
- Build automated security guardrails and integrate application security into development pipelines.
- Shape organizational practices for open-source security and license compliance.
- Collaborate with architects and product owners to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct threat modeling and architectural reviews to identify and prevent vulnerabilities.
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and keep application security practices current.
- Mentor security talent and lead cross-functional initiatives through influence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of application security experience with deep enterprise-level SCA and SAST implementation expertise.
- Ability to read and remediate code in languages such as Java, C#, Python, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate security risk into business value and clear engineering actions.
