Responsibilities
- Consult with internal business groups and IT management on application development, technical support, requirements, and implementation challenges.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack applications and well-designed, efficient code.
- Develop tests and test-automation suites, write JUnit and Mockito unit tests, and participate in code reviews.
- Integrate software components into fully functional systems and maintain software functionality and technical currency.
- Deploy applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement and manage batch jobs written in Spring Batch.
- Document requirements and solutions, including flowcharts, layouts, and Jira records.
- Use AppDynamics and Splunk dashboards and advanced search queries for monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate compliance with technology standards and apply security and privacy principles.
- Advise on emerging technologies and help define corporate implementation and integration strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Ten years of experience in the offered role or a related IT occupation.
- Ten years of experience designing and developing applications with Java 11, Spring Boot, Maven, MongoDB, and Oracle.
- Ten years of experience building UI applications with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito.
- Experience with Agile software development and Scrum-based incremental delivery.
- Experience deploying applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing and managing Spring Batch jobs.
- Experience analyzing business requirements, gathering software development requirements, and documenting them in Jira.
- Experience using AppDynamics and Splunk for dashboards, log analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
