Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements and develop design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
- Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and ROI.
- Partner with stakeholders such as project managers to drive workgroup project plans, release plans, and work items.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual and guide other engineers through playbooks and operational practices.
- Monitor systems and services for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alert stakeholders, and initiate restoration actions.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring consistency, and operations at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- 4+ years of professional development experience.
- Experience with C++, C#, big data, machine learning, natural language processing, and search technologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud Services, including Azure, Entra, and O365.
- Security awareness, including penetration testing and threat analysis.
- Strong analytical, customer engagement, cross-functional collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred experience as a Software Development Engineer and knowledge of cloud, AI, and other computing technologies.
