Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate APIs and microservices.
- Design database schemas, optimize queries, and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and application security.
- Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot systems, and support production releases.
- Use Git and CI/CD pipelines to manage code changes and deployments.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and frontend developers.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and follow coding, security, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, backend application development, APIs, microservices, and database management.
- Knowledge of Core Java, object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling, multithreading, and Java 8+ features.
- Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, database query optimization, and SQL.
- Experience with testing frameworks and practices including JUnit, Mockito, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ, Maven or Gradle, Git-based version control, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and monitoring tools such as ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, software engineering principles, and secure development practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
