Base Salary
$146k - $272k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain gateway, service mesh, and common-functionality microservices.
- Solve problems involving API gateways, cross-cluster service meshes, authentication, authorization, and large-scale Istio deployments across AWS accounts.
- Design processes and workflows using testable, repeatable, and self-service automation.
- Independently ship complex, high-quality software features and improvements.
- Maintain monitoring, alerting, documentation, and the long-term health of production systems.
- Influence peers through code and design reviews and advise stakeholders and adjacent teams.
- Help onboard newcomers and optimize team mechanisms for greater efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Python, Kubernetes, Terraform, Bash, and CI/CD systems.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud technology, preferably AWS or Azure, or strong familiarity with demonstrated ability to become an expert.
- Familiarity with networking concepts in microservice architectures.
- At least 1 year of experience with AI technologies.
- Passion for developer tooling, automation, and platform solutions.
- Ability to work autonomously, solve complex problems, communicate effectively, and deliver high-quality software.
