Base Salary
$200k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop planning algorithms for autonomous driving, including search-based, sampling-based, optimization-based, linear-temporal-logic, and uncertainty-aware approaches.
- Integrate and evaluate combinations of autonomy algorithms.
- Design and build robust, scalable software systems.
- Interface with upstream and downstream components through CI/CD pipelines.
- Own and lead technical development on features from problem formulation through implementation and deployment.
- Process and analyze autonomous vehicle field data and build and optimize large data pipelines.
- Guide and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least two years of industry experience in motion planning for automotive robotics.
- Professional C++ software development experience.
- Experience owning and leading technical feature development.
- Experience leading processes from problem formulation through implementation and deployment.
- Experience processing and analyzing autonomous vehicle field data.
- Experience building and optimizing large data pipelines.
