Base Salary
$224k - $357k/yr
Responsibilities
- Execute the full software development lifecycle and write well-designed, testable code.
- Design, implement, and integrate perception software components into functional systems.
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Document, maintain, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.
- Deploy state-of-the-art perception DNN models to embedded platforms for real-time applications.
- Analyze and improve system performance using real and synthetic benchmark data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer or Software Developer on embedded platforms for real-time applications.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Experience with test-driven development and disciplined, design-based software development.
- Proficiency with software engineering tools and the ability to document requirements and specifications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include CUDA/SIMD experience, DNN deployment to embedded platforms, synthetic-data experience for improving machine-learning accuracy, TensorFlow or PyTorch experience, and integration/testing on real hardware or robotic platforms.
