Base Salary

$120k - $225k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain AI platform components including API integrations, MCP and tool-use connectors, authentication flows, and data pipelines connecting AI models to internal tools.
  • Develop custom AI-powered applications and workflows for business use cases based on requirements and technical designs from senior engineers.
  • Write clean, well-tested code in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and platform architecture decisions.
  • Maintain documentation such as API references, integration guides, and troubleshooting resources.
  • Support internal AI training and enablement through resources, office hours, and helping teams adopt AI tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and IT teams to meet government security and compliance requirements.
  • Stay current with AI developments and implement relevant capabilities in company solutions.

Requirements

  • Build and ship software, ideally using Python, TypeScript, or similar languages used in AI/ML tooling.
  • Use AI-powered development tools to deliver production code and automate routine tasks, with the ability to read, write, and understand at least one common programming language.
  • Understand REST APIs, webhooks, or other software integration patterns.
  • Understand large language model APIs and concepts such as prompting, tool use, and retrieval-augmented generation.
  • Demonstrate strong software engineering fundamentals, the ability to learn quickly, growing independence, and effective written and verbal communication.
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and evolving requirements.
  • Be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, or DevOps practices.
  • Preferred qualifications include enterprise software integrations with Slack, Jira, or Confluence.
  • Preferred qualifications include government, defense, or regulated-industry experience and familiarity with CrewAI, Pydantic AI, LangChain, or embedding/vector databases.
  • An active U.S. Secret or Top Secret clearance is preferred.
