Base Salary
$113k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop agentic AI engineering technology and use AI coding tools throughout planning, design, implementation, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
- Build, maintain, integrate, test, and support complex software components and AI-enabled applications.
- Perform model evaluation, quality measurement, system testing, defect correction, and validation of unit tests.
- Analyze business and technical requirements, define application scope, document enhancements, identify risks, and collaborate with stakeholders and development teams.
- Review and harden AI-generated code, conduct code reviews, mentor others on coding standards, and advise QA on regression impacts.
- Provide production support, on-call support, system monitoring, and coordination with other IT departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 years of experience on one platform, multi-database, multilanguage, or multibusiness application.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including cloud-native development, APIs, microservices, automated testing, secure SDLC, and CI/CD, are preferred.
- Experience with healthcare, payer, claims, clinical, HIPAA, PHI, regulated-industry, or enterprise-security environments is preferred.
- Experience building or integrating AI agents, tool/function calling, RAG, memory, model routing, evaluations, guardrails, observability, and secure API or tool access is preferred.
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and its Runtime, Memory, Identity, Gateway, Code Interpreter, Browser Tool, Observability, Evaluations, and Policy capabilities is preferred.
- Experience building LLM or SLM applications, reviewing and hardening AI-generated code, and supporting production systems is preferred.
