Responsibilities

  • Define solution architecture across business, application, information, and technology domains.
  • Design reusable AI application architectures.
  • Implement and integrate technology solutions across BRP’s manufacturing, sales, and marketing domains.
  • Ensure technology solutions comply with security, legal, regulatory, and responsible-AI requirements.
  • Partner with business and departmental leaders to align information systems with organizational strategy.
  • Estimate solution costs and prepare IT business cases covering infrastructure, licenses, cybersecurity, development, and support.
  • Develop governance frameworks supporting transparency and auditability of AI decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent project-related experience.
  • At least ten years of IT experience, including at least five years in information system design.
  • Ability to translate business problems into scalable AI solutions and understand AI adoption patterns and industry use cases.
  • Deep understanding of responsible AI, PII, sensitive data classification, data residency, and legal constraints related to training, fine-tuning, and inference.
  • Experience with AI governance, machine learning algorithms, MLOps, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, model evaluation, optimization, and fine-tuning.
  • Strategic business acumen and the ability to design information systems aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences and work with board-level stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and collaborating across teams to deliver solutions.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies such as TOGAF with ArchiMate or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate daily with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or with unilingual English-speaking stakeholders.
