Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, maintenance, deployment, scalability, and integration of complex Generative AI platforms, applications, and services.
- Architect and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions using Python, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Define architectures with data science, technical, and business stakeholders for key use cases.
- Resolve high-impact technical and business problems and lead projects through complex process and architecture evaluations.
- Establish coding standards, testing methodologies, debugging practices, and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, startups, and Risk and Control teams on AI initiatives, governance, risk management, standardization, and tooling.
- Manage concurrent initiatives of varying sizes and complexity and advise or coach mid-level developers and analysts.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressive hands-on Python engineering experience developing scalable platforms, applications, and services.
- At least 5 years of experience delivering complex backend solutions and services into production.
- Experience with Python libraries and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face; Node.js frameworks such as Express and NestJS; and TypeScript.
- Understanding of Generative AI systems, AIOps, and application monitoring and evaluation.
- Experience with cloud architectures and public cloud offerings.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI and machine learning technologies.
- Experience with software development agents, CI/CD pipelines, software testing, and code reviews.
- Demonstrated project leadership, project management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and technology decision-making skills.
- Financial industry experience is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience, is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
