Responsibilities
- Rebuild the existing product into scalable agentic infrastructure supporting up to one million users.
- Design and own the agent runtime, including orchestration, memory, verification, and reliability systems.
- Work end to end across backend, infrastructure, frontend, and agent systems.
- Define the technical stack, architecture, engineering standards, and development practices.
- Ship weekly or faster to real businesses using the platform.
- Own technical decisions as the first engineering hire and potential future CTO.
Requirements
- At least two years of shipping production software, or an equivalent track record as a founder or solo builder.
- Hands-on experience building and running LLM or AI agent systems in production for real users.
- Full-stack capability spanning backend, infrastructure, and user interfaces.
- Experience turning prototypes into production infrastructure handling real load, including architecture, data models, runtimes, and orchestration.
- Experience owning technical decisions without an engineering organization above you, such as as a founder, early hire, or solo technical lead.
- Familiarity with agent orchestration, agent memory, evaluations, verification systems, or multi-agent workflows is preferred.
- Founder or co-founder experience is a strong positive signal.
- Strong computer science fundamentals from a university or recognized engineering environment are preferred but not required.
- Must be based in Europe and open to relocating to San Francisco within the first year.
