Responsibilities
- Own one or more software architecture components.
- Develop components for map processing and validation workflows.
- Analyze and debug pipeline issues using logs and visualization tools.
- Support documentation, testing, and internal demos.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and proactive communication.
- Contribute to software design, coding, testing, release, support, and engineering best-practice improvements.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of relevant software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Application development experience with Java, Scala, or Python.
- Exposure to AWS and big data tools such as Spark and EMR.
- Experience with a database and writing efficient SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and basic Linux commands.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, programming practices, and writing reusable, flexible, and reliable code.
- Ability to write testable code and demonstrate strong logical, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
