$287k - $555k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy advanced machine learning models and classifiers for real-world integrity and trust-and-safety problems.
- Translate OpenAI research breakthroughs into production AI applications.
- Build scalable data pipelines and optimize models for performance, accuracy, and production readiness.
- Collaborate with researchers, software engineers, and product managers on AI-powered solutions.
- Monitor and maintain deployed models to ensure continued value and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and uphold high-quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with deep learning and transformer models.
- Proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Familiarity with training and fine-tuning large language models, including distillation, supervised fine-tuning, and policy optimization.
- Experience with content understanding or abuse prevention using LLMs is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, ownership, and adaptability skills.
