Base Salary

$120k - $135k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build features and enhancements for global ticketing platforms
  • Provide day-to-day technical and design guidance to the development team
  • Optimize applications for user experience, performance, and traffic spikes
  • Write and present RFCs for complex technical approaches
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, business analysts, product managers, and project managers
  • Support weekly production releases and follow change management and incident management processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues during incidents
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical training and career paths
  • Perform code reviews, security scans, best-practice reviews, and code testing
  • Resolve support requests and urgent client requests in coordination with Engineering and Product staff
  • Develop consistent, well-tested code with open-source programming languages and frameworks
  • Work with third parties to deliver seamless integrated experiences

Requirements

  • Minimum six years of relevant hands-on coding experience
  • Strong experience with micro front ends and Module Federation
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Experience building single-page applications and mobile, responsive user interfaces
  • Experience with open-source technologies such as React
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience leading, developing, and mentoring staff
  • Experience driving process and tooling improvements at the organizational level
  • Deep domain expertise and ability to serve as a go-to engineer in a specific area
  • Preferred experience with C# and .NET Core ecosystems
  • Preferred experience with AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kafka, Elasticsearch, or AWS DynamoDB
  • Preferred experience building large-scale, high-performance transactional systems and platforms
  • Preferred experience in ticketing, inventory management systems, or e-commerce
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, independent-work, and teamwork skills
