Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and productionize machine learning solutions for document understanding, search and Q&A, generative AI, and virtual agents.
- Develop and maintain Python backend services for AI-driven applications.
- Design and implement APIs integrating AI models and services.
- Serve as a machine learning specialist and subject matter expert while collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage the full ML model lifecycle, including problem definition, data exploration, feature engineering, training, validation, and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot AI model, integration, deployment, and backend-service issues.
- Implement telemetry, A/B testing, statistical validation, and automated testing for ML solutions.
- Document and communicate development processes, system designs, and architectural decisions.
- Protect healthcare data and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, machine learning, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of industry experience focused on developing and deploying machine learning solutions.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, efficient algorithms, and quality software development.
- Strong Python proficiency and familiarity with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch.
- Knowledge of statistical machine learning and artificial intelligence for NLP, speech, RAG, virtual agents, or document processing.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemma, or similar generative AI services, including prompt development and fine-tuning.
- Experience with microservices or an API-based application paradigm.
- Strong problem-solving, logical thinking, attention to detail, collaboration, written communication, customer focus, innovation, product quality, and test engineering capabilities.
