Base Salary
$187k - $268k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction for the Account Management Platform and guide software and system architecture.
- Design, deploy, and maintain distributed solutions using Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
- Lead improvements to reliability, security, scalability, cost efficiency, and developer productivity.
- Lead web application migrations, API and workflow modernization, and asynchronous service decoupling.
- Partner with engineering, product, security, customer success, and other stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives.
- Mentor software engineers and raise engineering standards for dependable platform delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of software engineering experience, or master’s degree and 6 years, or PhD and 3 years.
- Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining solutions using Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems integrating with identity and access management solutions, including microservices and APIs.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives, architecture design, and software engineer mentorship.
- Experience delivering production software in an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Preferred: IAM experience involving authentication, authorization, single sign-on, role-based access control, and identity lifecycle management.
- Preferred: Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and SCIM.
- Preferred: Experience defining technical roadmaps involving cloud-native architectures, observability, automated testing, continuous delivery, and production operations.
