Base Salary
$200k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own large portions of the application and drive major features from start to finish.
- Build intuitive generative-AI-powered user experiences and safe, impactful AI-driven features.
- Scale the platform to ingest terabytes of data from diverse sources.
- Query and notify users about data in real time.
- Optimize search algorithms for fast results.
- Train, deploy, integrate, and monitor machine-learning models.
- Collaborate with engineers, deployment teams, and users to iterate on solutions.
- Write robust, well-tested, well-designed software that is regularly deployed to users.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 8 years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
- Understanding of responsible generative AI practices; experience applying LLMs to improve user experience is a bonus.
- Knowledge of training, deploying, integrating, and monitoring machine-learning models.
- Experience shipping and iterating on production-grade software professionally or in the open-source community.
- Strong modern software development practices and comfort navigating large codebases.
- Ability to synthesize product requests into reliable software components.
- Located in NYC and open to working in the office.
