Responsibilities
- Own the trade and position platform end to end, including roadmap, delivery, reliability, incidents, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain connectors to centralized exchanges, counterparties, and on-chain sources.
- Develop and extend Python and SQL data models that normalize trade and account flows across venues.
- Deliver trusted data outputs for Finance, Operations, and the trading desk for verification, reporting, and analytics.
- Improve reconciliation workflows to identify and resolve discrepancies between venue statements and internal records.
- Build data-quality controls with clear lineage, reproducibility, and documentation.
- Partner with Finance and Operations to translate business rules into testable logic and onboard venues and products.
- Contribute to the broader data platform and its Spark, Iceberg, ClickHouse, and ML tooling capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in software or data engineering, ideally involving trading, middle-office, or post-trade systems.
- Strong production Python and SQL skills, with hands-on MySQL and PostgreSQL experience.
- Experience integrating external REST and WebSocket APIs.
- Familiarity with trade lifecycle concepts including positions, fees, funding, and reconciliation.
- Experience owning production systems end to end, including incident response and stakeholder communication.
- Strong communication skills across business and technical teams.
- Fluency in Chinese and English.
- Experience with Spark or PySpark is preferred.
- Experience with Airflow, Celery, Kubernetes, Iceberg, ClickHouse, MLflow, or TensorFlow is preferred.
