Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test strategies and test cases for new and existing features.
- Design, write, and maintain automated UI and API test scripts.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA input throughout the development cycle.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution using bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
- Communicate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders about requirements and software health.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality feedback.
- Perform regression testing and root cause analysis for production defects.
- Suggest development process improvements to prevent defects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automated testing.
- English proficiency is mandatory.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, for automation.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
- Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for data validation and backend testing.
- Proficiency in Git and/or BitBucket.
- Strong ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and bug reports.
- Preferred: experience with performance or load testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
- Preferred: knowledge of security and penetration testing principles.
- Preferred: experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred: familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for managing test environments.
