Responsibilities
- Build frontend interfaces, backend logic, and other full-stack functionality.
- Ship high-impact features that are fast, reliable, and user-friendly.
- Contribute to product and technical direction alongside design, engineering, and founders.
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand their problems and develop effective solutions.
- Help shape Plain’s product-centric engineering culture and company practices.
Requirements
- Experience shipping features end-to-end in fast-paced environments.
- Strong initiative, ownership, and ability to drive work independently in ambiguous situations.
- Customer- and impact-oriented approach focused on the end-user experience.
- Interest in shaping product decisions and working closely with customers.
- Care for craft and building simple, powerful, and polished products.
- Willingness to work as an individual contributor rather than manage others.
