Base Salary
$193k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and own scalable, performant, and secure Pop DataPlane traffic-processing systems across the full software lifecycle.
- Lead multi-engineer projects delivering networking functions on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with satellite network, ground-station, systems, product, and customer-facing teams to define requirements and interfaces.
- Build and maintain automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, operational dashboards, and reliable data-plane services.
- Participate in hands-on coding, code reviews, design reviews, on-call rotations, and operational support.
- Coach and mentor engineers and drive engineering quality and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: at least 5 years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee due to export-control requirements.
