Base Salary
$117k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own scoped feature and model delivery, including implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
- Write clean, efficient, reliable code across multiple languages throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate AI/ML components through APIs and use generative AI development tools.
- Translate high-level designs and business needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, defect management, performance monitoring, and automated testing.
- Support continuous integration and delivery practices and contribute to engineering standards, innovation, and mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus 3 years of software engineering experience, or 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on development experience with Java, Python, Apache Kafka, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, software documentation, full software development lifecycle practices, debugging, code review, defect management, and scalable software design.
- Experience integrating AI/ML components and applying generative AI tools in software engineering workflows.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into technical requirements and measurable outcomes, collaborate effectively, and mentor others.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree plus 1 year of software engineering experience and knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
