Base Salary
$140k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect enterprise-grade solutions scaling from thousands to millions of requests per second.
- Design and implement scalable microservices, frameworks, and cloud-native platform components.
- Build reusable platform libraries used across multiple engineering teams.
- Develop comprehensive tests focused on reliability, accuracy, and performance.
- Conduct code and design reviews emphasizing testability, security, and scalability.
- Integrate services and APIs with the CrowdStrike ecosystem.
- Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement preventive improvements.
- Mentor team members on secure coding, testing methodologies, and cloud-native development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience building enterprise-grade products.
- 5+ years of experience developing microservices in cloud-native environments.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
- Expertise in at least one cloud-native programming language: Go, Python, or Java.
- Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of cloud architectures, microservices, REST, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, data storage systems, container technologies, and cloud deployment.
- Experience deploying services to at least one of AWS, OCI, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong debugging skills for complex distributed systems and experience with cloud monitoring, profiling, and optimization tools.
- Preferred experience includes cybersecurity products, AI/ML security, real-time data processing, open-source contributions, AWS API Gateway, Golang, MS Copilot Ecosystem, MS Agent Studio, and highly scalable AWS cloud-native services.
- Ability to undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint checks consistent with government customer requirements.
