Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services for the customer purchase journey.
- Design and implement APIs, data models, and service logic.
- Integrate with third-party providers and build reliable integration layers.
- Apply engineering patterns to distributed systems challenges.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features from design to monitoring.
- Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver user-focused solutions.
- Contribute to team practices such as documentation and testing standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience focused on back-end technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Go, Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby.
- Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases.
- Familiarity with identity management systems and directory services.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Nice to have: experience in AI/ML platforms or automotive industry.
