Responsibilities
- Plan and lead manual testing initiatives to ensure software releases meet requirements.
- Perform manual UX/UI and functional testing across software applications, web applications, and mobile applications.
- Test networking equipment and hardware/IoT devices to achieve adequate coverage.
- Analyze project documentation, release notes, and other project artifacts to create or update test scenarios.
- Conduct ad-hoc and scripted manual tests.
- Report bugs and issues to development teams and assist with troubleshooting.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience testing software, web, and mobile applications.
- Experience testing hardware and IoT devices.
- General understanding of networking concepts including Internet, WiFi, VLAN, Firewall, and VPN.
- Thorough understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
- Experience using modern AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills and high proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Preferred: experience leveraging AI/LLMs to improve engineering productivity, testing efficiency, documentation quality, or measurable outcomes.
- Preferred: experience with web test automation.
- Preferred: experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline.
