Responsibilities
- Own the architecture of digital workplace platforms spanning software, hardware, SaaS, and APIs.
- Define and drive the strategic roadmap for the digital workplace platform domain.
- Design and implement platform capabilities using modular architecture, infrastructure as code, automation, and secure-by-design principles.
- Lead adoption of SRE practices including observability, SLIs/SLOs, and proactive incident management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, mentor peers, and lead modernization and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5+ years of relevant platform, systems, or end-user device engineering experience.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, DevOps/SRE methodologies, endpoint management platforms, and identity and access management such as SSO and MFA.
- Strong observability, monitoring, performance-tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring ability, architectural judgment, and system-level thinking.
- Preferred experience with VDI, virtualization, remote desktop technologies, Terraform, Ansible, ServiceNow, NexThink, SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, production readiness, AIOps platforms, predictive support models, and secure-environment performance optimization.
