$256k - $480k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, develop, and implement large-scale software platforms, systems, and services.
- Lead architectural decisions and provide technical direction for a software development team.
- Define system functionality and develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle from preliminary analysis through testing and deployment.
- Build high-quality software that complies with coding standards and technical designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during rapid product development.
- Handle complex module research and development.
- Mentor senior and mid-level software engineers.
- Automate and manage the full release lifecycle, including code development, build, testing, and validation.
Requirements
- A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field plus three years of related work experience; or a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in one of those fields plus five years of progressive related post-bachelor's experience.
- At least three years of experience maintaining and debugging software services.
- At least three years of experience gathering business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders and translating them into technical requirements.
- At least three years of experience using agile methodology throughout the software development lifecycle.
- At least three years of experience writing testable, maintainable, low-latency software in a high-level programming language such as Golang, Java, Python, or C++.
- At least three years of experience managing software release lifecycles and using Pipeline, Bash, or Git for codebase version control.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor software engineers.
